For anyone that likes the dirt tracks sliding under your feet get a bike and explore the paths around the volcano crater of Lagoa das Sete Cidades.
You will find green forests with nice single tracks (I am not a “biky” person, so I personally did not dare to go on down on them). And you will be rewarded with stunning views over the lakes.
