First day in São Miguel and my spirit already feels fulfilled.
My friend Rui asked me if I wish to come along and rock climb near Ferraria, on the western tip of the island.
The lunar like landscape offers nice and accessible sports climbing routes. Perfect to kick start my adventure tour on the island.
Today the ocean was a little rough. But if are lucky to match the low tide at the end of your climbing day, you can go down to hot springs and enjoy the unique relaxing feeling of bathing on a 38º C ocean.
